Excellent home base for exploring Galle. Beautiful small and peaceful hotel in the Colonial style. Lots of food at breakfast like tea, toast, fresh fruit, and omelette. Location adjacent to the center of the old Galle Fort, shops, restaurants, and sights and the restaurants. Also, in the centre of the old town.

The location of Muhsin Villa was perfect, right in the heart of Galle Fort. The owners were friendly and always ready to assist. Our room was spacious, cool, and comfortable. The Sri Lankan breakfast served until 09:30 was absolutely amazing. The prices for services like airport transfer were clearly stated and printed, providing transparency. I would highly recommend this spot.

The breakfast with prices in Galle Fort is not expensive for what is offered. The room is neat and airy with air con. The staff are welcoming as well as the owner.

Muhsin Villa has a prime location, right in the heart of the Galle fort. Guests can easily explore the shops and restaurants within a few minutes' walk. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with all necessary amenities like a nice bed, air conditioning, and hot shower. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist. Guests have the option to enjoy a delicious Sri Lankan or English breakfast. There is a rooftop terrace where guests can relax and unwind.

The rooftop terrace may not be as cozy as expected, lacking a warm ambiance for guests to fully enjoy.

The location and ambiance of the hotel were excellent. We were able to easily reach the beach area and restaurants, thanks to the convenient location. The hotel staff provided us with a lot of guidance and advice on interesting places to visit. The hospitality shown by the Muhsin team was exceptional. They were very accommodating and friendly, making us feel at home during our stay.

The rooms were quite small, with barely enough space to open the door. The bathrooms were also very small and could only be locked from the outside.

Minor maintenance issues

Great location right in the heart of the fort and close to all the attractions. The owners were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and huge, definitely worth ordering.

The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak. The rooms felt damp initially and lacked character.

Value for money was great, the room was clean and comfortable. The location was ideal, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and treated us well.
